Cortez FZ is the 1st reserve champion stallion of the Westphalian main licensing 2020, who impressively underpins his superiority not only in the show jumping series, but also over the first single jump. "A large-framed stallion, well developed and well muscled," was how interim licensing commissioner Thomas Münch summarized the enthusiasm of the licensing commission in his comment. “Even with the preselection with the natural, easy jumping and always moving through the body.” Cortez FZ can handle his large gear ratio very well and is also able to develop the jump optimally from a small canter. "Bascule and front leg technique are outstanding."
The sporttest for 4 year old stallions did Cortez FZ with the final mark of 8,25 in Münster-Handorf 2022. The sporttest for 5 year old stallions did Cortez FZ with the final mark of 8,29 in Münster-Handorf 2023. Cortez FZ also wins the qualification for Warendorf with 8,6.
